BKF publishes joint statement on UK recognition within WKF structures

Four Home Nation bodies named in BKF statement
The British Karate Federation (BKF) has published a joint-statement update on its official news page. The federation says the declaration was signed by the English Karate National Governing Body, Scottish Karate Governing Body, Welsh Karate Governing Body and Northern Ireland Karate Board.
According to the BKF, the four bodies collectively form the federation and are the only bodies authorised to represent their Home Nations within World Karate Federation and European Karate Federation structures. The statement also says communications from non-affiliated organisations do not represent the UK’s official position within that framework.
Those recognition claims are attributed to the BKF’s published statement. KarateUK is reporting the federation’s wording and is not adding an independent legal or governance interpretation.
