EKNGB members set for WKF Youth League in Mexico

The English Karate National Governing Body (EKNGB) has listed the WKF K1 Youth League in Mexico as a four-day event running from Thursday 17 September to Sunday 20 September 2026. The organisation's event page names the competition and links to the World Karate Federation's karate events site.

EKNGB's homepage carries a separate message wishing its members well at the Mexico Youth League this weekend. That wording confirms the England body is using the event listing for its members, but the published notice does not provide a competitor list or individual results.

The dates also match the 2026 calendar published by the Kyrgyz Republic's Karate Federation, which lists the K1 Youth League in Guadalajara from 17 to 20 September. That provides an independent calendar check on the timing and host city, while EKNGB remains the source for the England-member connection.

For families following the event, the useful distinction is between the EKNGB notice and later results. The page currently gives dates and a WKF link, not draws, start times, medal claims or travel guidance. Those details should be checked through the organiser's current event information as the competition progresses.
