KUGB schedules free Northern Ireland kata and kumite course for 11 October

Maghera course gives KUGB members a two-part Sunday session

The Karate Union of Great Britain (KUGB) has listed a FREE Kata & Kumite Course – Northern Ireland for Sunday 11 October 2026 at Maghera Leisure Centre, Coleraine Road, Maghera BT46 5BN. The official listing gives the course time as 13:30–15:30.

The timetable is split into two sessions: kata from 13:30 to 14:30, followed by kumite from 14:30 to 15:30. These details come from the KUGB official events listing.

The course is open to KUGB members who are 7th Kyu and above, and the association asks members to book through the KUGB app. That eligibility and booking guidance is specific to this KUGB course; it is not a general open-entry event for every karate organisation.

Anyone planning to attend should check the live KUGB notice and app before travelling, particularly for any late changes to access or registration.
