KUGB National Youth and Student Championships return to Liverpool on 7 November

Liverpool hosts a national competition for young and student karateka

The Karate Union of Great Britain (KUGB) has scheduled its National Youth and Student Championships for Saturday 7 November 2026 at Greenbank Sports Academy, Greenbank Lane, Liverpool L17 1AG. The official event page gives the competition window as 10am to 6pm, with doors opening at 9.30am. KUGB’s event page carries the date, venue and timetable.

The youth competition is open to all KUGB members under 21. A separate student event is open to members over 16 who are still in education, giving older juniors and students a dedicated national competition opportunity within the same day.

KUGB lists spectator entry at £10, with children under five admitted free. Clubs and families should confirm registration requirements, membership status and any timetable updates through the organiser before travelling; the event page is the current reference for access details.

The championships are part of KUGB’s autumn events programme, which also includes regional training and grading dates. This Liverpool fixture is specifically focused on youth and student competitors rather than an open senior championship.
