UK International Karate Open heads to Stourbridge this Sunday

The English Karate Federation has its 41st UK International Karate Open scheduled for Sunday 20 September 2026 at Crystal Leisure Centre, Stourbridge, DY8 1AE.
The federation’s event page lists individual kata and kumite, a maximum of 650 competitors, and officials led by Gary Hoyle. It says entries are submitted through Sportdata; the Sportdata karate calendar independently lists the event on 20 September in England.
The published entry windows have passed: the federation lists late entry as ending on 30 August. That does not establish whether any exceptions or on-the-day arrangements are available, so competitors and spectators should confirm practical details directly with the organiser before travelling.
The federation describes itself as an independent, member-focused Community Interest Company rather than England’s National Governing Body. The event should therefore be understood as an English Karate Federation competition, not as an official statement on behalf of all UK karate organisations.
