KUGB Central Region course and kata squad training set for 31 October

Central Region training returns to Walsall

The Karate Union of Great Britain (KUGB) has listed a Central Region All Grades Course and Kata Squad Training session for Saturday 31 October 2026 at WLV Gym, The University of Wolverhampton, Magdalene Road, Walsall WS1 3TA. The date, venue and event listing are published on the KUGB official events calendar.

The published timetable puts the All Grades Course from 11:00 to 12:30, followed by Kata Squad Training from 13:30 to 15:30. The calendar names Sensei Frank Brennan, 8th Dan, as instructor and lists the cost as £10. These details are reproduced from the KUGB event entry; readers should check the federation page for any later changes before travelling.

What the listing tells prospective attendees

The schedule separates a daytime all-grades session from an afternoon kata-squad block, giving readers a clear view of the programme when planning their Saturday. The KUGB calendar does not provide further eligibility or booking detail in the listing text, so participants should use the federation’s current instructions rather than assume that the two sessions have identical entry requirements.

WLV Gym is at the University of Wolverhampton’s Walsall campus. Because the event is a training course rather than a new school announcement, this report does not add a dojo listing to KarateUK’s directory. The official KUGB calendar remains the reference point for updates, registration information and practical arrangements.
