KUGB Central Region course and kata squad training set for 6 December

Central Region training moves to Lilleshall in December

The Karate Union of Great Britain (KUGB) has listed a Central Region All Grades Course and Kata Squad Training session for Sunday 6 December 2026 at Lilleshall Hall National Sports Centre, near TF10 9AT. The event page says training will be in Jubilee Hall and gives an 11:00–15:30 programme; the official KUGB event listing is the reference for updates.

The timetable lists the All Grades Course from 11:00 to 12:30 and Kata Squad Training from 13:30 to 15:30. Sensei Frank Brennan (8th Dan) is named as instructor. KUGB lists the cost as £10, with booking through its app and payment on the day; the price covers both sessions.

Who the two sessions are for

KUGB says the All Grades Course is open to all KUGB members and, although organised within the Central Region, is open to members from all regions. The Kata Squad is for KUGB members who are 3rd Kyu and above and at least 12 years old, with selection at the start of the year required for those training in the squad.

The event page also says squad members should make every effort to attend all squad training sessions during the year. This is a federation training listing rather than a new school announcement, so no dojo directory record is added from the report.
